The Wynne Room is a smaller room on the first floor furnished in boardroom style suitable for meetings for around 12 people. It also has a flatscreen ( 95cm diagonally) for presentation purposes, which can be used with a laptop.
It is accessible internally from the hall, and also independently from an external door. There is a stair-lift fitted for disabled users.
The dimensions are 4.90m x 4.45m.
Down Ampney Village Hall is the hub of the village, and has a wide range of facilities available to suit all needs . Whether you are looking to book a party, function or something else, we have a large main hall that holds up to 140 people and an attached but separate lounge bar area.
Additionally, there is a fully equipped servery fitted to the latest hygiene standards and an additional private function room (The Wynne Room), ideal for committee meetings and smaller gatherings.
Please be aware that the Village Hall does NOT provide tea towels, bin bags, tablecloths, cooking equipment, or high chairs.
Heating is by a modern A/C - Heat Recovery system.
We have a smaller mobile single speaker unit and large powerful PA available for hire, and a portable projector. In the Dakota Room there are 2 small speakers and a fitted screen.
The Village Hall has a large car park for 30-40 cars and includes full disabled access to both floors.
